Tracheal Retractors

Tracheal Retractor assists surgeons to obtain a self-retaining opening in tracheotomy procedures. It facilitates the visualization of the anterior tracheal wall by displacing the sternohyoid muscles laterally, thus exposing the cricothyroid membrane and the cricoid cartilage. Tracheostomy surgeries are done either in an emergency setting to relieve upper airway obstruction or as elective procedures for ventilation in long standing respiratory disease.

Blunt terminal ends for atraumatic manipulations, Spring U-shape handle for bilateral retraction of tracheal tissues, Oval finger pads to enhance control and comfort.
